New spa set to create 150 jobs in Edgbaston
A new spa is set to open in Edgbaston that will create more than 150 jobs.
Skin and hair specialists Esta Medical Group is opening the facility at the former Eaton Hotel site on Hagley Road in December.
The site will feature a Turkish bath, with 30 clinic rooms and 30 spa rooms with guests able to enjoy a luxury health and wellbeing experience.
It is set to be the UK’s largest spa and hammam.
Sam Cinkir, CEO of Este Medical Group, said: “It has been a dream of mine to bring a state-of-the-art spa and hammam to Birmingham for some time and I’m delighted the dream is so close to being realised.
“Birmingham is a city that I hold close to my heart as it is the city where Este Medical Group was born in 2015, and now we have 11 further clinics across the UK and beyond.
“We have huge plans for the site and I am incredibly excited to see the progress we have already made.
“Bringing the UK’s largest spa and hammam to Birmingham will be a very proud moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to welcome our guests inside.”
Mr Cinkir opened the first Este Medical Group clinic in Portland Road, Birmingham, in 2015 and further clinics have since opened in Sutton Coldfield, Manchester, Leeds and London. Today, the company has seven sites in the UK, as well as locations in Milan, Bucharest, Istanbul and Bangladesh.
