Hundreds of jobs on the menu at £40m fulfilment centre

Gousto is coming to Burton

St. Modwen logistics is set to build a 295,000 sq ft chilled fulfilment centre at Burton-on-Trent for recipe box retailer Gousto which will create hundreds of local jobs.

The bespoke £40m scheme at St. Modwen Park Burton will reportedly increase Gousto’s operational capacity by 40 percent, creating a wealth of opportunities for aspiring engineering managers, warehouse managers, operatives and more to join the high-flying firm.

The new site will be delivered by Readie Construction, with SBH Property Consultants acting on behalf of Gousto.

“We’re delighted to be occupying the space at Burton – not only will this increase our capacity, but it will bring hundreds of job opportunities to the area.
