Property firm launches sixth office
Commercial property consultancy Harris Lamb has opened an office in Telford as it expands its network of offices within the Midlands.
The business, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, opened the office at Stafford Park with two key appointments.
Matthew Tilt, formerly a director at Lambert Smith Hampton in Birmingham, and Mark Linning, previously head of professional services at Bulleys, have joined the business at director level and will drive the Telford office.
Charles D’Auncey, director, said: “Over the past three decades our business has thrived as we’ve grown both our team and the number of services we offer, and we’re entering the next phase by developing it further.
“With existing offices in Birmingham, Dudley, Worcester, Stoke on Trent and Nottingham, the board felt that a new Telford office was a natural progression for the business, complementing our other sites and providing an additional outlet for our diverse service offering.”
Tilt said: “Mark and I both live in Telford and are excited to be opening the new Harris Lamb office in our hometown. The combination of our skillsets, local knowledge, and the established Harris Lamb offering is an excellent platform for us to service clients right across the West Midlands conurbation.”
Linning added: “I’m delighted to have joined Harris Lamb at such an iconic time, celebrating the business’s 30th Anniversary in conjunction with opening the new Telford Office alongside Matt.

All sectors of the commercial property market have been impacted in one way or another by events over the last couple of years, and whether landlord or tenant, these events, together with the conflict in Ukraine and rise in living costs and inflation will all affect rental and lease negotiations. Therefore, Lease Advisory is an area I will be looking to expand for the business, as well as delivering valuation and rating services to drive the business forward.”
Recent years have seen Harris Lamb focus on growing the business through acquisition as well as organically.
The plans have seen the business grow significantly, with the acquisition of Worcester-based rural business planning specialists Malcolm Scott Consultants in 2016, a new Nottingham office in 2018, and Dudley-based chartered surveyors Sellers in 2019.
