Trio of companies sign up to Bruntwood’s Cornerblock

Bruntwood Works has welcomed three businesses to Cornerblock in Birmingham.

Technology firm Kainos, Sedgwick International and Kroll have collectively taken more than 16,266 sq ft of flexible working space across three floors.

One of the new trio of customers, Kainos, helps its clients solve their biggest challenges using digital technology. Its new office is designed to support hybrid working, enabling its people to embrace the benefits of working together in person, or to work from home depending on what suits their needs at the time.

The move into Cornerblock is another step in Kainos’ rapid growth plan within Birmingham. Having hired 200 people since their arrival in 2018, it plans to double that to 400 by the end of 2025.

Also setting up at Cornerblock is Sedgwick International – a global technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions provider. Sedgwick was keen to expand its network with Bruntwood Works once again, having taken space in 2018 at The Plaza, one of the workspace and leisure provider’s buildings in the Liverpool portfolio.

Cornerblock is also welcoming data solutions business Kroll, which provides technological insights and solutions into complex demands in the risk, political, and growth sectors.

Matt Wright, head of commercial for Birmingham at Bruntwood Works, said: “The current climate has seen a huge increase in demand for flexible and dynamic workspaces that will enhance customers’ working experience and promote balance and wellbeing. The moves these businesses have made are testament to the regions’ strong business pull and we are excited to have all three join the Bruntwood Works community here.

“These businesses represent the modern demand for high quality office space that promotes creative and collaborative efforts. We know each business hugely values the flexibility and safety of their workforce and Cornerblock is perfectly designed to ease people back into the office while also helping to inject life into our city centres once again.”
