Canadian group swoops for software firm

A software company based in Leamington Spa has been snapped up by a Canadian group.

Technology Blueprint, a SaaS software solutions provider to the property technology sector, has been bought by Volaris Group Inc.

Technology Blueprint’s offers software solutions to clients in the real estate sales, letting and management market.

The business is led by software entrepreneur Vik Tara. He and the whole management team will remain on board to continue leading the business forward.

Tara said: “We are excited to be joining Volaris Group. We now have a fantastic platform from which to offer innovative and market leading PropTech solutions. We were attracted to their approach of buying entrepreneurial businesses, while leaving management in place to allow them the autonomy to continue to grow and flourish.

“There is a strong fit between the two businesses, operationally, and culturally, and our clients will benefit from our ability to grow and develop our proposition as part of the larger group. This partnership is an exciting next step on the Technology Blueprint journey. I know that that the business will become even stronger through this next chapter of growth.”

Steve Bartlett, partner at Transcend Corporate, who advised on the deal, said: “We are delighted to have been able to help and support Technology Blueprint in completing this transaction.

“Volaris is a good buyer of businesses like this, with their supportive and long-term mindset, which will allow Vik and his team to continue to deliver market leading, innovative software solutions to the property market. We wish him and his team all continued success.”

Volaris Group has grown to more than 35 countries based on a decentralised business model where acquired companies retain their autonomy and can access ongoing training.
