Leicestershire housebuilder expands into the West Midlands

(L-R): Andrew Morgan, Matt Colloby & James Chatterton

William Davis Homes is set to establish a permanent presence in the West Midlands for the first time.

The Leicestershire housebuilder has completed a number of projects in the region in recent years, including schemes in Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire, and now makes the move across the Midlands to Leamington Spa.

The firm’s new office at 11 Waterloo Place will be led by longstanding employee Matt Colloby, who has been appointed West Midlands land director. He will be joined in Warwickshire by senior planner James Chatterton and Andrew Morgan, who recently joined the company as senior land manager.

The growing firm says it is planning to build and sell more than 400 new homes at over a dozen sites across the East and West Midlands during this financial year.

Its new home in the West Midlands will open on 1 October.

Guy Higgins, managing director at William Davis Homes, said: “Our aim is to build a pipeline of developments in the West Midlands to support our growth as a business, and we are actively seeking opportunities to acquire more land in the West Midlands. Having a dedicated team of land professionals based in the region will help with this.”

Matt Colloby added: “This is an exciting challenge which brings a real opportunity to grow, build upon our existing operations and further strengthen relationships in the region. I am very much looking forward to growing the team over the next twelve months.”
