PLP has appointed Glencar Construction to build PLP Stafford, a ‘big box’ speculative logistics unit located at Stone Business Park, which will create 100 jobs during the construction phase and 500 permanent jobs once complete.

Construction work on the facility which is set to be BREEAM Excellent, started this month and is scheduled for completion in June 2023. The completed and occupied scheme is expected to contribute an additional GVA of £24.5m annually to the local economy.

PLP Stafford will be a high-spec logistics warehouse totalling 344,478 sq ft including more than 20,000 sq ft of offices and with a clear internal height of 18m at the 17-acre site at Stone Business Park.
