Former IBM campus transformed by £5m refurbishment

A £5m refurbishment of the former Warwick IBM campus has been completed.

FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) has revamped ‘The Woods’ into an 80,000 sq ft flagship CAT A office development, including coworking spaces. It offers a range of floor sizes for freelancers and small companies to larger organisations seeking satellite office space.

The Woods has been designed with EV charging points, lighting and climate cooling systems, collaborative working areas, and a bistro cafe

The new two-storey development is set to welcome two firms in the health and tech sector, including Quanta Dialysis Technologies (Quanta DT).

Tim Knowles, founder and Managing Director of FI Real Estate Management, said: “The reimagined space introduces a new office concept to Warwick and will offer businesses and their employees a fresh and invigorating place to work.

“We’re drawing major interest from businesses in the region and beyond and are very pleased to have already welcomed two major players from the health and pharmaceutical sector to the building.”

Andy Smith, Senior Project Manager at FI Real Estate Management, added: “12 months ago, we embarked on a major project to transform a tired office, to reinvigorate the space and inject inspiration. For us, this was a huge opportunity to take a look at what businesses and the wider market need from our new development.

“We’re very proud to have repurposed the development, relaunching it as The Woods and fulfilling our ambition to create a destination workplace, where wellbeing is built in to provide more of a hospitality experience for occupiers.”
