Housing scheme plans move forward with land sale

Plans for a housing scheme in South Staffordshire have moved forward following a significant land deal.

Trebor Developmentshas sold its land interests at Kinver to Crest Nicholson. The 22 acre site has outline planning permission for up to 40 new homes and a housing allocation for upwards of 82 dwellings.

Mark Wright, partner of Trebor, said: “This is a great resolution to our work since promoting the site through the Local Plan process and this represents a fantastic result for our landowner partners. We had huge interest from housebuilders.

Tim Brickley, managing director of Crest Nicholson Midlands, said: “The acquisition of Kinver is a significant opportunity for Crest Nicholson, and forms part of our strategy to secure high quality land and expand our portfolio across the Midlands. As part of Crest Nicholson’s long-standing commitment to building future-proof, thriving communities, placemaking and open spaces will form an important aspect of the site – and we’re pleased it played a big role in the selection of Crest Nicholson to take this site forward to delivery. We plan to commence on site next Spring, and expect strong interest in these homes thanks to their quality location and the scheme.”

Trebor was represented by Avison Young.
