Colmore Business District launches consultation

Colmore BID has started consulting levy paying businesses ahead of their ballot in September for its fourth five-year term.

Businesses in the Colmore BID will be sent ballot papers late September giving them the opportunity to vote on the services the BID proposes in its BID4 Business Plan.

The consultation period for feedback from levy paying businesses on this document will continue until March 2023.

Through the BID, local businesses will be investing £6.5m over a five year period towards the improvement of the area to help to achieve ambitions, including those that have been mapped out in the BID4 consultation document.

Nicola Fleet-Milne is the chair of the board of directors. She is supported by a board of 14 directors representing businesses and public sector organisations across the district.

Fleet-Milne said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our BID4 Consultation Document and are really looking forward to hearing feedback on our future ambitions from our levy paying businesses. The seven strategic ambitions that we have detailed in our BID4 consultation document are instrumental to ensuring that we continue to develop a flourishing and progressive business district.”
