Tim Bloomer

Tim Bloomer has joined CBRE’s Operational Real Estate (OPRE) team. The experienced valuation expert moves from Lambert Smith Hampton. In this new role, he will specialise in the hospitality, healthcare, leisure and education sectors.

Robert Smith started his career at CBRE in 2000. After a decade in Avison Young’s rating team and three years living in New Zealand, he returned to join the CBRE’s valuation team last year. He has now crossed the floor back to rating.

Will Ventham, who heads the Birmingham office, said: “Both Tim and Rob are widely respected in their fields and will help boost our growing rating and OPRE teams.”

A Shrewsbury-based mortgage broker has added three recruits, taking its team of advisers and support staff up to 17.

Theo Bruce, Beth Butler and Adam Jenkins have joined Mortgage Advice Bureau – Severn Mortgage and Protect’s Case Management and Customer Service teams and will be providing support to advisers and clients.

Timothy Alcock

Contract hire and car leasing company Central Contracts has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Timothy Alcock as marketing director.

The Stoke on Trent-based business operates online vehicle leasing brands in the UK including car leasing experts

Alcock brings 14 years of experience in the field of marketing in both agency and client-side roles and has developed marketing strategies for many high-profile companies.

He is stepping up from his existing role as head of online at the leasing broker, a position he has held since 2016.

Mike Lloyd, managing director of Central Contracts said: “I am thrilled to welcome Timothy to the board of directors.

“With his wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry, he is the perfect candidate to lead our marketing efforts and help us achieve our business objectives.”

In this new role, Alcock will oversee the ongoing development and implementation of Central Contract’s online growth strategies.
