Indian street food franchise sets its sights on international expansion

Birmingham-born Indian street food brand Karak Chaii, is set to open its 15th site next month.

The franchise is looking to open a further 50 national and international sites over the next three years.

Propel Hospitality revealed Karak Chaii’s 14th site was opened in The Parade in Leamington Spa, by Josh Sander earlier this month. Sander, is the son of Leamington One Stop owner Sunder Sandher. He has invested in the site to refurbish it and open the restaurant.

Site number 15 will follow in Southall, west London, in March.

Karak Chaii has three sites in its home town of Birmingham, with the latest there on Coleshill Road, opening in January.
