Construction group makes host of hires as it forecasts turnover of more than £60m

A dozen appointments have been made at a leading Midlands contractor and developer as it forecasts a bumper year.
Deeley Group, which is headquartered in Coventry, has made 12 new hires across the construction, homes and developments areas of the business, since the start of the year.
The business delivers a range of projects across the Midlands and has been operating as a family business for more than 85 years.
The group of new starters range from trainee to management level and join as the firm is forecasting turnover in excess of £60m for 2023/24.
The new appointments bring the firm’s total number of direct employees to more than 75 staff.
Deeley Group has bolstered its development team with development manager Tony Corbett and development graduate Kyle Govind.
Dave Brennan, Francis Cawley, both project managers and Richard Bamford, contracts manager, have joined the construction arm of the business to manage new projects.
They are joined by estimator Karl Hoare, senior quantity surveyor Leanne Neal, design and build manager Simon Lowe and Ian Farquhar, design and building co-ordinator/BIM manager.
A further appointment has been made at management level for the construction arm, with Mike Pickston joining as aftercare manager to utilise the team’s new aftercare and quality management application.
Annmarie Grove has also been appointed as financial controller for the group, with Anais-Rebekah Carbon joining as an administrative assistant.
