Skewb to power next phase of growth with funding deal

Skewb, which provides specialist business and digital transformation products and services to the energy and water sector, is to power its next phase of growth after securing funding.

Operating out of Warwick, Skewb’s team provide a number of digital products and business advisory services to a range of businesses in the energy and water sector, including business transformation, digital transformation, strategic advisory, system implementation and change management.

Established in 2018 by Indu and Shashi Seshadri, Skewb has grown rapidly in the last five years, developing a strong market position built on formidable reputation and long term sustainable and trusted partnerships with key asset owners and operators in the energy and water sector.

The funding will enable the business to take advantage of a strong market position by investing in people and technology, developing new products, and exploring potential new markets.

Mike Dinnell led the Thincats funding team following an introduction to the business by Scott Monks of Enness Global. Financial due diligence was conducted by Martyn Rickels at FRP, and legal support was provided by Jody Bingham at Hugh James and Ben Moylan and Billy Shaw at Freeths.

Shashi Seshadri, founder Skewb, said: “We are passionate about enabling transformation and delivery of efficient & compliant outcomes, at pace, and in partnership with our Water and Energy customers. Our specialist services and digital products enable the gateway to achieve this. I am delighted to have partnered with ThinCats and their team who understood our vision for the business and the future of the sector. We are in a fantastic position to take advantage of market opportunities and deliver our world class services and digital product solutions to even more customers.”
