How the new homes will look

The green light has been given by Redditch Borough Council for 109 homes at at Persimmon Homes’ and Charles Church’s The View development on the edge of the town.

The new homes will make up the sixth phase of the wider scheme, which is made up of terraced, semi-detached and detached properties.

As part of Persimmon and Charles Church’s wider development at Redditch, over £7.23m will be paid in Section 106 agreements. These include highways, public transport, education, sports and public open space contributions.

Russell Griffin, managing director at Charles Church South Midlands said: “We’re delighted that Redditch Borough Council has voted to approve the sixth phase of our development at The View. This scheme will provide a mix of homes, helping to meet the housing needs of the Redditch area as well as providing local jobs and apprenticeships as part of the construction of the development.”

“We’re committed to creating vibrant, successful communities and supporting more local families in getting their dream homes. We’ll continue to work in partnership with the Council and other stakeholders to ensure our developments deliver real benefits for the communities they are based in.”
