New images released of £23m Gunsmith House development in Birmingham

The transformation of one of Birmingham’s historic gun factories has been unveiled for the first time in new images released by developer Elevate Property Group.

The derelict Gunsmith House on Price Street property has been transformed into three apartments as part of a wider £23m development which will see a further 82 brand new one and two-bed apartments built to the side of the original building.

Construction work is on course to be completed early in 2024.

“This is our 11th development in the city centre and arguably our fastest selling, with over 65% of the apartments now sold,” said David Hofton of Elevate Property Group.

“The availability to view the two-bed, first floor show apartment will give purchasers a look inside the development and the quality of the interior fittings and furnishings.”

There are three luxury apartments housed in the original Gunsmith House building; a one-bed on the ground floor (with terrace), a two-bed on floor two and a unique two-bed duplex property with mezzanine and vaulted ceilings (both offering balconies).

The 82 new build apartments, adjoining to the side, are being built around a communal landscaped courtyard, with many of the apartments having either terraces or balconies. There are also a selected number of properties that have the option of purchasing one of a limited number of gated car parking spaces.

The Price Street location is less than ten minutes’ walk to Snow Hill offices and Rail Station, Colmore Row’s financial district, Birmingham City University, and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
