Carlsberg Marston’s to partner with UK’s largest pub group

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) has secured a new ten-year logistics partnership with the UK’s largest pub company, which is set to create 100 jobs.

The Stonegate Group which operates 4,500 sites across the UK with brands including Slug & Lettuce and Be at One, will use CMBC as its logistics partner from Spring 2024, managing all keg and cask deliveries to Stonegate’s managed pubs.

The partnership will see an increased presence for Wolverhampton-based CMBC’s premium beer brands including Brooklyn Pilsner and Birrificio Angelo Poretti across Stonegate’s pub estate.

This expansion of CMBC’s in-house logistics network will include the addition of 29 new vehicles to the company’s fleet, as well as investment in capacity at a number of depots nationally. The move is expected to create around 100 new jobs within logistics, including in distribution and warehousing.
