Midlands auto parts company expands into Coventry unit
Advantage Auto Parts, a Midlands-based auto parts company has recently upgraded to a larger unit to accommodate its ongoing expansion.
Established by entrepreneur Jas Ladwa in 2011, the company initially sold a limited range of car parts on platforms like eBay.
After moving into a 5,000 sq ft property just last year, the company has expanded its space, occupying an 8,692 sq ft unit in Binns Close, Coventry.
With a current workforce of 15 employees, the company enlisted the assistance of Edward Jenkinson from Holt Commercial, a Midlands-based commercial property specialist, to facilitate its relocation.
Jas Ladwa shared that the company has broadened its market reach, now selling a variety of parts, from brake callipers to power steering pumps, not only across the UK but also into European markets.
She said: “We are growing quickly and I have no doubt that we will be looking for more space at some point very soon. We are one of the biggest sellers of OEM and aftermarket brake calipers in the UK and that includes our own engineered parts for a whole range of vehicles. We have recently expanded our product range to include wheel bearings kits, power steering pumps and control arms and this is something we will continue to do.
“The secret to our growth is our returning customers. We are not out to expand into every product category but aim to continue our organic growth by serving our customers well, and the Midlands is a perfect central location from which to grow”.
