Uncertain future for sports management firm

A sports management and promotion group is facing an uncertain future, after giving a notice of intention to appoint administrators.

Cube International based in Worcestershire comprises three firms, offering event services, portable modular buildings and story-telling platforms

An NOI has been given by Cube International, Cube Management and Cube Modular which employed around 60 staff in 2022 and reported a loss of £432k. It saw profits of £752k in 2021.

Clients and partners include major names such as The Open, Saracens, RedBull, Umbro, Crystal Palace FC, Silverstone, England RFU, Live Nation, Lord’s and Chelsea Flower Show.

Its story-telling platforms have focused on giving female athletes a voice with The Women’s Sports Alliance (WSA) as well as elevating disability sports through its Disability Sports Alliance (DSA), looking at boosting organisational strategies, athlete stories and industry exposure.

Cube and its representative for the NOI, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, were contacted for comment with no reply received.
