Law firm to create 30 new jobs

Sarginsons

Talbots Law is set to generate more than 30 new jobs in Coventry.

The firm is recruiting legal assistants, solicitors, administrative personnel, and several director positions.

The employee-owned practice added Sarginsons Law to its portfolio in May of last year and now aims to expand its presence in the city threefold.

Alongside its recruitment drive, Talbots Law has recently completed a renovation of its historic 1850s premises on the Quadrant in Coventry.

The refurbishment project focused on preserving the building’s period charm while introducing modern enhancements such as new flooring and energy-efficient lighting.

Dave Hodgetts, chief executive of Talbots Law, said: “There is massive potential to grow our footprint in the city and this is what we are aiming to achieve in 2024. Work on the office is now complete so the time is right to look at how we build our team. We have the opportunity and space to increase our workforce to 50 people and this push starts immediately.

“The aim is to become one of Coventry’s leading law firms, offering every legal service required by the local community – and, importantly, delivering this expertise in a personal way that shows we care. This has created a unique ‘team’ atmosphere where we invest heavily in the development of our staff and give each employee a personal progression plan they can follow. We’ve just been awarded a 2 Star rating in the Best Companies Awards to underline our commitment to our people.”
