Jobs created at new Birmingham nursery
Birmingham has welcomed a new nursery, which is set to create 20 jobs.
Little Adventures Nursery is scheduled to open in May, following the completion of a fit-out at the rented premises located at 1369 Pershore Road in Stirchley.
The single-story building features an open-plan layout, including several meeting rooms, double-glazed windows, a kitchen, and restrooms.
The agreement with Little Adventures Nursery include a 15-year lease at an annual rate of £25,000 and was facilitated by property agent Siddall Jones.
Legal advice for the Little Adventure Nursery Group was provided by Kieran Rodda of Birdi & Co Solicitors, while the landlord received counsel from Maya Nisa-Zaman of MZ La.
Laura Filer, co-founder and chief marketing officer, said: “Our new Little Adventures Nursery in Stirchley will provide high-quality childcare for children from the age of six weeks to five years. Little Adventures Nursery Group is multi-award-winning due to the high levels of care, nurture and learning that children receive within our settings. Our award-winning curriculum is market-leading, enabling children to become ‘future ready’ by the time they leave us, promoting learning through play.”
Scott Rawlings, retail agent at Siddall Jones, said: “These are former factory premises that have already been used as a nursery, although the Little Adventures Group has a great new fit-out planned. Stirchley is an increasingly trendy suburb, with many young families moving to the area.
“We believe this high-quality nursery group has a real opportunity to become quickly established and we wish them all the best for the future.”
