Contractor hunt begins for £1.3bn social homes framework
A housing association in the West Midlands has relaunched its search for contractors, developers, and professional advisors to oversee its upcoming construction projects.
Community Housing Group, headquartered in Worcester, anticipates the framework to potentially reach £1.3bn over four years, encompassing the Wyre Forest region and surrounding areas of Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
The higher-value contracts, focusing on construction and development projects exceeding £10m, as well as specialised demolition and enabling works, will be available nationwide across England and Wales.
Firms have until June 6 to submit tenders for the Community Housing Group framework, which includes various construction and development works ranging from up to £4m to over £25m in value, along with services such as employers agent, cost consultant, architect, principal designer, and more.
Successful bidders will be announced by the beginning of August.
