Insurance firm secures deal for 250 staff with flexible office provider

An insurance group has secured a deal for flexible office space across three major English cities.

Cubo will be the new home of RSA Insurance in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds with 250 staff based across the provider’s space at 2 Chamberlain Sq (Birmingham), The Lincoln (Manchester) and 6 Wellington Place (Leeds).

RSA provides personal and commercial insurance to more than nine million customers around the world. In 2021, it came under new ownership and joined the Intact Financial Corporation.

Cubo now has 5,000 desks across the country and has a further pipeline of four new sites which will open in 2024, taking it to around 7,000 desks by the end of the year. The flexible office provider was launched in 2020 and now operates sites in Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, and Edinburgh.
