Global business management firm secures city centre office
Firstsource Solutions, a provider of business process management services, recently took 15,000 sq ft of office space at Tricorn House.
The firm now occupies the entire third floor and has access to 240 desks.
With CEG’s Let Ready Go studio package they have customised the space, dividing it into two halves with meeting rooms, training areas, kitchen, and breakout spaces, all tailored to their needs.
Dan White, Head of Flex Advisory for the Midlands and South at CBRE, advised CEG on the deal. He said: “This is the largest landlord-delivered deal of its type in Birmingham to date and heralds a new dawn for landlord-occupier relations in the city.
“Whilst in the US it’s common for a landlord to deliver a fully fitted product, with the costs amortised in the lease, in the UK a more traditional lease structure is the default. This is starting to change. Businesses that find it hard to predict growth, or are keen to offer flexible working practices, still want bespoke, dedicated space to attract and retain staff. At the same time, they don’t want the cost or headache of managing a fit-out. Global businesses, such as Firstsource, also expect this model to be available in the UK.
