Care provider moves operations to new Birmingham offices

Sandwell Community Caring Trust (SCCT) has leased 6,600 sq ft of space at Nurton Developments’ Trigate Offices, on Hagley Road in Birmingham.
With a workforce of 450 employees, SCCT is relocating from its current offices in West Bromwich to the Grade A Trigate offices.
Established in 1997, SCCT specialises in providing accommodation, care, and support services to older individuals with dementia and adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
Set to relocate at the beginning of start of June, SCCT will utilise the space for its 20 office staff, accommodating up to 40 individuals at any one time for training sessions.
Andrew Coley, chief executive, of Sandwell Community Caring Trust, said: “Trigate strikes a good balance, offering well-located modern offices, with efficient floorplates and a range of amenities and competitive rents.
“We’re also working alongside like-minded organisations which opens up opportunities for collaboration and we feel Trigate is better suited for our organisation moving forward to maintain a secure, motivating and stimulating environment to ensure we can develop the best care providers for our service.”
David Dyas, asset manager for Nurton Developments, said: “Trigate doesn’t come with the same overheads as a city centre office, however, still offers a high-quality working environment, on major bus routes and is minutes away from two M5 junctions and within walking distance of a wide range of shops, restaurants, coffee bars and pubs.
“We’re pleased to be welcoming SCCT and to be able to work alongside them to create an effective work solution for their needs.”
