Uncertain future for haulage firm after administrators alerted

Staffordshire-based haulage firm Place 2 Place Logistics (P2P) filed a notice of intention (NOI) to appoint administrators on Tuesday afternoon (May 21), casting doubt over the future of the firm.

P2P specialises in medical haulage and is a member of the Pall-Ex distribution network.

The company has been serving customers for 11 years, offering a range of services from national pallet distribution to container export and warehousing.

The company’s most recent unaudited accounts, for the year ending June 2022, show that P2P employed 59 people.

In 2022, the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) issued an improvement notice to P2P for not having an adequate emergency plan for transporting radioactive material. This shortfall was discovered during a routine inspection.
