Sports equipment firm strikes deal with film and comic book giant

A Black Country sports equipment company has secured a branding deal with the US film and comic book brand Marvel.

Aldridge-based Safejawz, which designs and manufactures mouthguards, is now offering products featuring popular characters such as Captain America, Captain Marvel, Hulk, and Spider-Man.

The company was founded in 2014 by Ewan Jones and George Dyer, who met at The University of Manchester and aimed to make sports mouthguards more fun and appealing.

The news comes after the firm was honoured at the King Awards for International Trade.

Today, the company boasts over a million athletes and celebrities as customers, including England rugby player Joe Marler, Birmingham mixed martial artist Leon Edwards and YouTuber KSI.
