Fleet manager moves away from collapsed brand name

Following this week’s announcement that Rivus Fleet Solutions and most of its assets were acquired by the Metropolitan Police Service, Rivus HGV, previously a sister brand to Rivus Fleet Solutions, will now operate under the Pullman brand name.

Operating independently as Pullman Fleet Solutions, the sale of Rivus will not affect Pullman’s core services, including HGV repair and maintenance, VMU management, MOT services, and specialised documentation for various vehicle types.

Earlier this week administrators at PwC secured a deal for Rivus Fleet Solutions which safeguarded 165 jobs and ensured crucial services can continue to be delivered by the Met. 55 members of staff were however immediately made redundant.

Headquartered in Solihull, Rivus HGV has assured customers that operations will continue as usual, managing existing contracts and progressing with new initiatives such as their recent contract to service 733 DHL eCommerce trailers near Coventry Airport.
