Midlands logistics recruiter faces uncertain future
A notice of intention to appoint administrators (NOI) has been filed by a Midlands recruiter supporting the logistics sector, casting doubt over the future of the firm.
Advance Drivers, trading as Advance Support, operates from bases in Rugby and Northampton and has provided people, training and compliance to clients including DHL, Culina Group, dpd, XPO Logistics and GXO for the last 15 years.
In its last accounts in 2023, Advance Drivers employed 229 staff across offices in Rugby, Northampton, Milton Keyes, Derby, Tamworth, Leicester, Peterborough, Luton and Birmingham.
Filing the (NOI) is a process that prevents creditors from taking action for 10 days and is designed to give companies the space to secure a solution to their financial problems.
Advance Drivers has been contacted for comment, with no reply received.
