Double deal boosts Palatine-backed accountancy group
BK Plus has taken its office count to 21 in just four years with the acquisition of two more Cornish accountancy practices.

The accounting and financial advisory firm Walker Moyle and Pooleys Chartered Accountants will join BK Plus on its mission to help serve SMEs in the South West, which now has a dedicated Cornwall hub.
Walsall-headquartered BK Plus was created by David Baldwin and Shaun Knight in early 2021 and was backed by Palatine Private Equity last September.
The deal continues an acquisitive spree for the firm, with recent acquisitions including Casson Beckman Chartered Accountants in Fareham, Aldridge insolvency boutique, K J Watkin & Co and its first step into the South West with the purchase of Andorran Chartered Accountants.
Walker Moyle, with offices in Penzance, Redruth, and St. Ives, is the oldest practice to join BK Plus, with roots dating back to 1925. Pooleys Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers is based in Truro.
The deals bring BK Plus’s office count to six in the South West, creating a South West Hub led by Tom Tripp and Hannah Collison.
