IT recruiter plugs into energy sector with acquisition of counterpart

Birmingham-based IT recruitment agency VIQU has invested in Consult Energy, another recruitment company located in Birmingham.

The UK arm of Consult Energy, known for its 15-year track record in the renewables and utilities sector, will now operate under the VIQU group.

VIQU, which has specialised in the IT sector for the past decade, and operates an additional office in Southampton, decided to expand its focus due to recent government announcements on major investments in the UK energy sector.

Having recently completed a three-year green pledge to reduce emissions to net zero and invest in renewable energy, VIQU sees the acquisition of Consult Energy as an opportunity to further improve its sustainable business operations.
