Padel leisure concept targets UK roll-out
A fast-growing padel leisure concept is looking to expand across the UK after appointing Stärka, the leisure real estate advisory business as sole agent.
Padel Social Club launched its first site in Earl’s Court recently and now Stärka is targeting indoor and outdoor spaces between 10,000 sq ft to 40,000 sq ft.
Padel Social Club says it takes a “flexible and versatile” approach to its locations and formats, ranging from multi-court barns to pop-up or permanent turn-key court installations and activations.
The growth of Padel has seen a phenomenal demand over the last few years. Padel Social Club says it welcomes players of varied experience, and depending on the venue, comes equipped with social and wellness areas, rooftop bars, meeting rooms and co-working spaces, as well as cafés and retail spaces selling specialist Padel equipment and clothing.
David Bell, co-founder of Stärka, said: “Our partnership with Padel Social Club has come as a direct result of our previous success in acquiring locations for a number of operators, both established and up-and-coming.
“Our expertise very much lies in the bespoke and collaborative approach we take with landlords, as well as our ability to truly understand the core nature of our clients’ concepts, and understanding what they need from a place to thrive.
“We have been a key part of several nationwide expansions over the last few years, with Padel Social Club set to be part of this growing list.”
Kristian Hunter, Co-Founder and CEO of Padel Social Club, added: “We’re excited to continue our rapid expansion across the UK, and with Stärka’s support, we are confident in securing prime locations that align with our vision of creating vibrant spaces where people can connect through sport and lifestyle.
“This partnership sets the stage for Padel Social Club to grow as the leading social padel operator in the UK, and beyond.”
