Document management firm opens new Staffordshire warehouse
A document management company has opened a new £1.25m, 4,200 sq ft warehousing facility in Middleport, Staffordshire.
Located at the Tileworks on Ellgreave Street, the purpose-built facility hopes to improve Chaffinch’s service capabilities and is part of a larger investment that includes a full refurbishment of the company’s headquarters on the same site.
Founded in 2011, Chaffinch now employs 21 people, including two new roles in the warehouse to support its growing operations.
Over the summer, the company also rebranded and launched a new website.
As a single-source provider, Chaffinch offers document management, automation, and enterprise software solutions to businesses, charities, and organisations across the UK.
Chief executive officer Alastair Machin said: “Since I launched the company thirteen years ago, we have continued to expand our team and services. Our new warehouse facility is an integral part of our ongoing expansion plans. Importantly, this initiative goes beyond our business; it’s about contributing to the regeneration of a region that has faced significant challenges in the wake of post-industrial decline. As a local resident, this mission holds great personal significance for me.”
