Safety equipment supplier snapped up by global counterpart
A global industrial services provider has completed the acquisition of Provincial Safety Services, an industrial safety equipment supplier based in Oldbury, West Midlands.
Headquartered in France, the acquiring company operates in over 50 countries and primarily serves sectors including Oil & Gas, Energy, Power Generation, Process, Environment, and Construction.
With 120 subsidiaries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific, the group employs nearly 52,000 people worldwide, generating a turnover of €5.3bn.
Legal support for the acquisition was provided by Flint Bishop, led by partner Martyn Brierley, with assistance from George Ottewell and Janet Rhodes on real estate matters.
David Nelson, senior partner at PKF Smith Cooper, led the financial and tax due diligence, with support from Deniss Sipovics.
