Dains Accountants has announced the appointment of Stephen Greenway and Harshad Bharakhada as partners in our forensic accounting team at its Birmingham office.

Stephen Greenway, who qualified with a Big 4 firm and has 15 years of experience in forensic accounting, has extensive knowledge of financial investigations, dispute resolution and wider forensic matters.

Harshad Bharakhada also qualified with a Big 4 firm and has a wealth of experience having held senior positions in leading firms.

Adrian Goddard

Leading Midlands business, the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), has appointed a new senior Commercial Director to oversee the business’s commercial goals and objectives, as well as support operational processes.

With more than 20 years of commercial experience, including working with leading HR and accounting organisations including IRIS, ADP, Ciphr, and Civica, Adrian Goddard has a strong payroll background having worked in the industry for over a decade, holding multiple director-level positions.

Outside of work, Adrian is passionate about executive coaching and Non-Exec Directorship, supporting professional development. He has achieved a Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Coaching and Leadership and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Goddard said: “As soon as I started working in payroll over 12 years ago, I knew instantly that I wanted to stay in this sector for the rest of my career. I’m extremely passionate about giving something back to the profession that has opened so many doors for me personally, as well as use my leadership position to encourage the next generation to choose payroll.

“There are now over 60 career pathways to choose from and payroll professionals are no longer restricted to just transactional tasks; they’re becoming recognised as the engine room of a business. Payroll can influence and drive value to support much broader organisational objectives. At the CIPP we can support people with this transition through our amazing memberships and IPPE education and training.

Mike Quinn

Redditch-based Rack Collapse Prevention has appointed Mike Quinn as their new Business Development Director.

Having held several senior roles throughout his career Quinn has worked with AIM Professional Systems, a supplier of software solutions to the legal profession and Guardian iT, a provider of business continuity solutions in which during his tenure he played a pivotal role in taking the company from a small business to a successful stock market listing.
