Data consultancy acquires hospitality specialist to boost sector expertise

A Birmingham-based data integration, governance and analytics firm has acquired a consultancy specialising in the hospitality sector.
The acquisition of Tahola, which has over 20 years of experience providing data solutions to UK hospitality brands, will expand Ometis’ capabilities in the sector.
It aims to strengthen the firm’s position in the hospitality industry by combining both companies’ expertise in data management.
Andy Patrick, managing director of Ometis said: “We are thrilled to welcome Tahola into the Ometis family. Tahola’s deep expertise in the hospitality sector fits perfectly with our vision of delivering innovative data solutions across our focus industries. Together, we’ll help our customers turn their data into actionable insights that drive real business value.”
Simon Blackbourne, co-founder of Tahola said: “Having founded Tahola over 20 years ago, I’ve seen firsthand how critical data has become to hospitality businesses. Joining forces with Ometis means we can offer businesses, even more, comprehensive solutions while maintaining the personal service we both value. Our shared commitment to customer success makes this a natural fit, and I’m looking forward to helping more operators put their data to work.”
