Integrated marketing communications consultancy Leopard Co has welcomed two new senior hires with the appointment of Jade Mansell as development director and Emma Batchelor as corporate director.
Mansell joins after 12 years at WPR where she progressed from junior account executive to account director in just five years.
She has won multiple awards for a variety of campaigns and has worked on a roster of high-profile clients, including Volvo, National Trust, Fujifilm, Dunelm and Co-operative Funeralcare.
In her new role, she will be responsible for driving forward marketing and new business at Leopard Co, which was established in 2023 following the merger of Spottydog Communications and Big Cat.
Batchelor returns to the team after a previous role at Spottydog Communications and following an extensive career in-house.
She brings with her a wealth of experience, having led PR, public affairs and marketing activity for several organisations.
Most recently, she was corporate communications and news lead at energy giant OVO, and before that, she was head of marketing and PR and then VP of communications at electric vehicle technology business Indra Renewable Technologies, where she helped the business grow five-fold in just two years.
The two join Co-CEOs Rachel Roberts and Anthony Tattum, operations director Anna Baker, client services director Christie Buet, and PR director Laura Rudolph.
Rachel Roberts said: “As a female business founder, I’ve always been incredibly passionate about supporting women to progress their careers and pride myself on providing opportunities for women to succeed. We are continuing to experience demand across all service areas, which has seen Leopard Co expand rapidly over the last year. So, we must reinforce our growing team with experienced professionals who can help steer this ship.
“Jade and Emma are two critical hires for us, and we can’t wait to see the impact they make — with both our team and with our clients.”
Mansell said: “I’ve long admired the work that Spottydog and Big Cat do, and am delighted to have joined at such a pivotal point in Leopard Co’s story. The agency is growing at pace, and to become part of a strong team led by such talented and energetic people is a real privilege. Plus, being on a senior leadership team which is 90% female means girl power is truly alive and well in Birmingham.”

Having spent more than 25 years in quality leadership roles across engineering, operations and supply chain for some of Europe’s most recognisable household names, Rupert Musgrove has taken up the role of UK managing director.
Joining the business from technology firm Dyson, Musgrove has also held global quality roles at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in a tenure spanning more than two decades.
Musgrove will be the driving force behind expanding G&P’s client portfolio, focusing on supply chain risk management to minimise disruption and ensure smooth operations for clients.
Joining Musgrove in the new senior leadership team, Marco den Dekker has been appointed as managing director of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), with specific responsibility for driving strategic growth across Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Having first joined G&P in 2017 as group business development director, he has since helped the business expand internationally and rapidly developed its extensive capabilities for OEM customers and suppliers.
The appointment will help to support the increasing demand for tailored quality management solutions from leading manufacturers, helping business leaders navigate the evolving manufacturing landscape with confidence.

Over the coming months, Onoufriou will be looking to further expand his team of experts, helping to reaffirm G&P Talent’s position as the ’go-to’ solution for customers across the UK and Europe.

“Bringing experience, energy and innovative new ideas, I’m confident that Rupert, Marco and Alex will play a pivotal role in building on G&P’s firm foundations to strengthen our service offering, expand our global footprint and accelerate progress towards our ambitious growth aspirations.”
Specialist business advisory firm FRP is expanding its services after appointing a specialist training director to support the learning and development offering it provides to its national client base.
With 38 years of experience in the financial services sector, John Nelson takes up the role of client services learning & development director.
Nelson will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office but will work with clients across FRP’s national network – with a focus on those in the asset-based lending (ABL) sector – to deliver tailored training programmes.
John Nelson
Starting in mainstream banking before specialising in ABL, Nelson’s career history includes more than 20 years at Lloyds Bank, as well as heading up the ABL division at GE Capital and Bibby Financial Services’ Central & South coverage.
He also holds a master’s degree in occupational psychology.
Nelson said: “There is a huge demand for developing and sharing expertise across the financial services sector to build more resilient, growth-ready and risk-aware businesses. This is certainly true in the ABL sector where I’ve spent much of my career, and where I’ll be initially focused on delivering bespoke training that fully reflects the specific landscape lenders and brokers operate in.
“FRP is an innovative business and is taking a lead with this kind of initiative, which perfectly complements the suite of integrated corporate finance, restructuring advisory and debt advisory services that it already offers. I’m excited to get started.”
Jeremy French, chief operating officer at FRP said: “This latest appointment demonstrates our commitment to expanding the support we offer to our clients, particularly when it comes to asset-based lending.
“This is a sector that is less well-understood compared to other forms of lending, but which we expect to see play an increasingly important role in supporting business’ strategic decisions in current market conditions. John’s direct experience of the market, and his broader training and development expertise, will be invaluable to leaders in the ABL space and across the sectors we serve as they target fresh growth and greater resilience.”
