Law firm to relocate to landmark Birmingham office building

RLK Solicitors will relocate from its Kings Norton office into space at the landmark 103 Colmore Row.

From February 3, RLK’s litigation department will move into the building, with further expansion planned for later in the year with recruitment underway. Its Edgbaston office on Calthorpe Road will remain.

Staff will relocate from the Kings Norton site that RLK acquired through its purchase of Bourne Harris Solicitors in 2020.

Rubric Legal was founded in Birmingham in October 2003 by Satish Jakhu. It went on to acquire Lois King & Co in 2007 and branded to RLK in 2010.

Satish Jakhu, director and head of dispute resolution said: “This is an exciting chapter in the history of RLK Solicitors. The opening of our new city centre office at 103 Colmore Row reflects our commitment to providing our clients with the highest level of service and accessibility.

“Situated in the heart of Birmingham, this prestigious address enhances our ability to attract top talent, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration across both our offices. Birmingham is a thriving and diverse city, and we are excited to be a part of its continued growth.

“We are confident that this strategic move will further strengthen our position as a leading law firm in Birmingham and drive innovation across our entire firm.”
