Altrad boosts branch network with fencing firm

Altrad Generation has acquired the assets and branch operations of Heras Mobile Fencing, to bolster its branch network and product offering.
The Oldbury-headquartered provider of access, scaffolding, safety and training products will gain six additional locations throughout the UK, expanding its existing network of 32 branches.
The newly acquired branches will provide Altrad Generation with an even broader range of temporary fencing products and hoarding solutions.
It bolsters the wider Altrad Group, an industrial services giant headquartered in France with 65,000 employees.
The acquisition coincides with Altrad’s purchase of Stork TS, which holds the Stork UK group of companies. It brings 1,900 staff into the group, which works to ensure industrial installations continue to operate properly and safely by constructing, maintaining or modifying them.
A team from Squire Patton Boggs led by corporate partner Geoff Perry advised Altrad on both acquisitions.
Mark Clifford, managing director of Altrad Generation said: “We are excited about the future as we integrate the strengths of both companies. This acquisition will create new opportunities for growth, innovation, and enhanced customer service. Our commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction remains at the core of everything we do, and this acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver on that promise.”
“Combining Altrad Generation and Heras Mobile Fencing UK activities will provide UK customers with an extended range of temporary fencing products, services and value in the UK market for temporary fencing. The Heras fence is the recognised brand for temporary fencing, and we look forward to building upon that legacy.”
