Swedish industrial group acquires trophy manufacturer

A Herefordshire-based awards and trophies manufacturer has been acquired by a Swedish industrial group, Teqnion.
Awarded 2U is a provider of custom-made awards, handling everything from design to final production in-house.
The company has supplied trophies and medals for clients, including the BBC, BP, EasyJet, and Vauxhall.
Its products have also been featured at events such as the British Grand Prix, Invictus Games, and Pride of Britain Awards.
The acquisition, facilitated by KBS Corporate, sees Awarded 2U become the sixth UK company to join Teqnion since May 2023, alongside Stanwell Group, Surge Protection Devices, Nubis Solutions, Avelair, and UK Lanyard Makers.
Debbie Jackson, who founded Awarded 2U, will continue to run the company as CEO.
She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining an ambitious and growing group such as Teqnion. I’m confident that Teqnion and Awarded 2U will thrive together and develop on each other’s backs. We will continue to showcase our market expertise by designing some of the most exquisite awards.
“I look forward to partnering with Daniel (Zhang, Teqnion CXO), Johan (Steene, Teqnion CEO) and the rest of the team.”
Johan Steene, CEO of Teqnion said: “Awarded 2U offers stunning pieces of inspirational art to its customers’ award winners, those who deserve the best. Debbie and her team have the design expertise and strong industry relationships that have made them the top choice for some of the most prestigious companies and organisations. It feels like we just won an award.”
