SYTECH, a multi-disciplinary consultancy, has further enhanced its leadership team by appointing John Kerrigan as non-executive director.

Kerrigan’s career spans nearly three decades, including co-founding Heron Group, operating as CEO and taking up the mantle of SVP at PAREXEL International, with a history of leading growth in the UK and US.

Furthermore, his track record details a decorated timeline of growing international businesses and leading consultancy and technical service provision for over 30 blue-chip clients.

Professional services group Leonard Curtis has appointed Liz Welch to strengthen its restructuring and turnaround team in Birmingham.

Welch joins the firm, as a director, qualified accountant and insolvency practitioner with a 20+ year career in corporate recovery.

This includes 14 years at what was formerly Duff & Phelps, becoming a director as the business transitioned over to Kroll in April 2021.

She has extensive experience of trading companies in administration across various sectors, including retail, hospitality, manufacturing and automotive.

She has handled accelerated mergers and acquisitions (AMAs) and sale of business processes, completing transactions on pre-pack administrations, as well as assisting with complex orderly wind-downs.

Director and head of Midlands, Conrad Beighton said: “She brings invaluable experience to the team and to attract someone of her reputation is a great win for us. She will help us take the Birmingham office and the wider region to the next level in size and scope.”

Multidisciplinary engineering business adi Group has announced the appointment of Randy Ekakitie as sales director for its Oil and Gas division at adi Projects.

In this pivotal role, Ekakitie will focus on generating leads and driving sales, as well as contributing to the business’s strategic growth.

With a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a master’s degree in Oil & Gas Engineering and an MBA, as well as over 15 years of international experience, he has substantial expertise in driving strategy and sales growth.

As a chartered engineer, he has also led numerous projects, working within a variety of industries including oil and gas, energy, recycling and mining.

He said: “I am thrilled to join the exceptional team at adi Projects and lead the charge in growing our Oil and Gas division. The potential for innovation and development within this sector is immense, and I look forward to helping adi Projects strengthen its position and continue to deliver exceptional results.”
