People: ONE Creative environments; Harrison Carloss

ONE Creative environments (ONE) has announced the appointment of Mark Martin as Chair of the Board.
The multi-disciplinary design company, which is currently celebrating 50 years in business, has all of the essential disciplines for a design project inhouse: masterplanning, architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, civil & structural engineering, building services, Digital Estates and BIM.
Martin, who has been a Director of ONE since 2008, has been instrumental in the company’s growth and success over the past 17 years. Throughout his tenure, Martin has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication. His vision has been pivotal in expanding ONE’s multi-disciplinary design services, leading to the successful completion of numerous high-profile projects both in the UK and internationally.
In addition to his role at ONE, Martin is committed to supporting local economies and communities. He is currently Director of Malvern Hills Science Park and on the Landscape Institute Committee, having previously served as Chair of the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s Business Board and championed the Superfast Worcestershire campaign.
As Chair, Martin will continue to drive ONE’s strategic vision, focusing on innovation, sustainability, people and excellence in design alongside his fellow directors. His appointment reinforces ONE’s clear commitment to further growth, delivering added value and exceptional integrated design solutions to benefit clients and communities.

Laura Edwards
Creative and digital agency Harrison Carloss has made a further investment in its team with a new hire for its client services department.
Laura Edwards will join the company as a senior account manager, following the additions of Josh Locke (marketing manager), Selina Talbot (account manager) and Rebecca Chadwick (creative designer) in the summer of 2024.
Edwards graduated with a first-class degree in advertising and brand management from the University of Staffordshire in 2019, but before donning her graduation cap, her career in marketing had taken off at the digital marketing agency, Plinkfizz, for more than 6 years.
Already a member of the Associate Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM), and most recently working as a senior marketing account manager at Embrace Marketing, Edwards is accomplished in client services and is a social media specialist with a strong commercial mindset. She has a proven track record in strategic marketing planning, content creation, digital marketing and social media management for both B2B and B2C clients.
