Crisp supplier chips in with sustainable pallet deal

A European provider of sustainable wooden pallet pooling, IPP, has secured a supply chain agreement with Irish food brand, Tayto Snacks.

With its UK & Ireland headquarters based in Coventry, IPP will now be the sole supplier of pallets for Tayto Snacks, managing the transportation of pallets to distribution centres, retail outlets, and supermarkets across Ireland.

Tayto Snacks, renowned for its iconic crisps since its founding in 1954, operates from its production facility in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

IPP specialises in pallet rental systems across Europe, where pallets are reused and repaired as part of the circular economy.

Colin Keating, business development manager for IPP said: “We’re delighted with this sole supply agreement, which will strengthen our Irish business, being aligned with such an iconic local brand as Tayto Snacks.
