Modular facility provider kicks off the year with trio of contracts

Walsall-based S Jones Modular Buildings has secured £160,000 worth of contracts to deliver new modular facilities for a school, a nursery and Hinkley Point nuclear plant in the coming months.
Work is set to begin soon at Hedingham School and Sixth Form in Essex, where three units will be installed to create two new buildings.
In Banbury, the company is delivering a fire-rated nursery unit for the Grow Learn Play Project CIC.
The unit is designed to meet REI 30 standards—ensuring 30 minutes of fire resistance—and comes fully insulated with flooring, LED lighting, and WCs.
Both facilities are expected to be ready for use after the Easter break, with on-site installation taking around two weeks.
S Jones Modular is also returning to Hinkley Point C, following a previous project, to deliver a new site office made from two modular units.
The structure will be fully insulated, REI 30 rated, fitted with air conditioning and finished in light grey.
Simon Willis, business development manager for S Jones Modular Buildings said: “This eclectic mix of projects demonstrates the versatility and efficiency of our modular solutions. Each project we deliver is tailored to the specific needs of the client – we’re able to create bespoke facilities to serve a diverse range of sectors from education to energy and everything in between.
“Our dedicated project team coordinates the whole process including design and the logistics around each on-site installation.
