Planning approved to convert former M&S site into apartments and retail units
Planning permission has been granted to transform the former Marks & Spencer building on Dudley Street in Wolverhampton into 71 apartments and three retail units.
The project is a joint venture between Nottingham-based ALB Group and Birmingham-based Prosperity Group, aiming to reconfigure the ground floor into retail spaces ranging from 1,200 sq ft to 7,000 sq ft while converting upper floors into contemporary city apartments.
The retail units are intended to attract a mix of independent and national operators.
