100 jobs at risk as consultation begins at manufacturing site
Adient has begun a formal consultation with trade unions and employee representatives over the future of its manufacturing site in Wednesbury.
The West Midlands facility, which produces foam products for automotive customers, employs around 100 people.
The consultation forms part of a wider assessment of Adient’s European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) footprint as production volumes across the region have fallen sharply since 2019 and market conditions remain difficult.
