Pharmacies change hands after decades of family ownership
A long-established pair of community pharmacies in Wolverhampton has changed hands, marking the retirement of their longstanding owner after more than three decades in the sector.
Trading as Healthplan, the business comprises Essington Pharmacy on Long Knowle Lane and HN Pharmacy on Cannock Road.
The two standard-hour pharmacies dispense around 22,000 items a month and have been owned by Janak Patel since the late 1980s and early 1990s.
