Edgbaston to launch ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as full 2026 schedule confirmed
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will get underway at Edgbaston Stadium on Friday 12 June, with hosts England women’s cricket team facing Sri Lanka women’s cricket team in the tournament curtain-raiser.
Edgbaston will play a central role in the early stages of the competition, hosting three matchdays including a double header on Sunday 14 June featuring Bangladesh v Netherlands, followed by India v Pakistan. Pakistan will return to the venue later in the group stage to face South Africa.
