Poundland’s owner eyes exit just a year after €1 rescue deal

Gordon Brothers is exploring a sale of Poundland, just over a year after acquiring the Walsall-based discount retailer.

Sky News reported that the US turnaround firm is in talks with advisers about launching an auction process for the chain, which employs around 12,000 people across roughly 600 stores.
