West Midlands farmland defies national slump as supply grows

Farmland values in the West Midlands have remained stable through the first half of 2026, outperforming the wider national trend, according to Savills' latest analysis.

Average values held broadly unchanged year-on-year at £8,780 per acre, even as the volume of publicly marketed farmland rose 11.1% to 7,864 acres, up from 7,078 acres over the same period in 2025.
